Hosting and server log files
This website is operated on the Odoo.sh platform of Odoo S.A. (Belgium), with data centres located within the EU (OVHcloud). When you visit the website, technical access data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type) is processed automatically to the extent required for secure and stable operation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
Contact form, e-mail and phone
If you contact us — via the contact form, by e-mail or by phone — we process the data you provide (name, company, e-mail address, phone number, message, and optional details on interest and annual volume) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The data is stored in our CRM system (Odoo). The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We retain the data for as long as necessary to process your enquiry or a developing business relationship, or as required by statutory retention obligations. Providing your data is voluntary; without it, however, we cannot process your enquiry.
Job applications
If you apply to DRIVS (e.g. by e-mail), we process the data contained in your application documents to conduct the application process. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in defending legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Application documents are deleted no later than seven months after completion of the application process, unless you consent to longer retention for future vacancies.
Recipients of data
We only pass on personal data to third parties where this is necessary for the purposes stated above (e.g. to our hosting provider as processor under Art. 28 GDPR), where we are legally obliged to do so, or where you have consented. There is no transfer of data for advertising purposes.
Cookies
This website only uses technically necessary cookies (in particular session cookies of the Odoo system) that are required to operate the site (Sec. 165(3) Austrian TKG 2021). No analytics or marketing cookies are currently used. Should consent-based cookies be introduced in the future, we will obtain your consent via a cookie notice; you may withdraw it at any time.
Google Maps (two-click embed)
On our contact page we offer a map view from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is only loaded once you actively enable it by clicking; only then is data (including your IP address) transmitted to Google. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); data may be transferred to third countries (USA). For details, see the Google privacy policy.
Fonts
This website uses locally hosted fonts. No connections to third-party font services (e.g. Google Fonts) are established when you visit the site.
Data security
This website uses TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmission. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Your rights
You have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact office@drivs.com.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority:
Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
