When off-the-shelf doesn’t fit.

Every DRIVS project starts from your application — its installation space, performance, lifetime and cost targets — and turns them into one matched system of motor, gearbox, sensors and electronics. We have it manufactured to our order by our partner network in Asia and deliver the finished drives ourselves: one partner, one contract, from the first concept to series supply.

The idea behind DRIVS

It started with a gap.

For standard drives, sourcing everything from one supplier is normal. It gets difficult the moment a product needs something that isn’t on the shelf — a drive engineered exactly to its requirements. Custom development usually only pays off at very high volumes; below that, projects stall or fall back on off-the-shelf compromises.

DRIVS was founded to close that gap. By pairing in-house drive engineering in Austria with an established manufacturing network in Asia, we changed the economics of custom drives — turning what used to be a high-volume-only proposition into something that works whatever the series size.
